Export Your Transactions

Get a CSV file from your bank. Most banks have this in account settings.

Apple Card
  1. Open Wallet on your iPhone
  2. Tap Apple Card
  3. Scroll down → tap Card Balance
  4. Tap ... → Export Transactions
  5. Choose Last 12 Months and CSV
  6. AirDrop or email to your computer
Chase
  1. Log in at chase.com
  2. Click your account
  3. Find Download account activity
  4. Select last 12 months, CSV format
Other banks

Look for "Export," "Download," or "Download transactions" in your account settings. Choose CSV (not PDF or Excel).

Can't find it? Search "[your bank] export transactions CSV"

Save it somewhere easy to find — you'll move it into the project folder in step 2.

Download the Project

  1. Go to github.com/rohunvora/just-fucking-cancel
  2. Click the green Code button
  3. Click Download ZIP
  4. Unzip the file (double-click on Mac, right-click → Extract on Windows)
  5. Move the folder to your Desktop
Move your CSV into this folder
Drag the CSV from step 1 into the just-fucking-cancel-main folder.

Install Claude Code

Claude Code is a free command-line tool from Anthropic.

Open your terminal

  1. Press Cmd + Space
  2. Type Terminal and press Enter
  1. Press Win + X
  2. Click Windows PowerShell

Run the installer

Paste this command and press Enter:

Run the Audit

Navigate to the project

cd ~/Desktop/just-fucking-cancel-main
Shortcut: Type cd then drag the folder into Terminal.
cd $HOME\Desktop\just-fucking-cancel-main
Shortcut: Shift + right-click folder → Copy as path, then cd and paste.

Start Claude Code

Cancel Subscriptions

Login prompts

When sites ask you to log in, do it yourself—Claude doesn't know your passwords. Just say "continue" or "I'm logged in" when ready.

Troubleshooting

"claude: command not found"
  • Close and reopen Terminal/PowerShell
  • Try running the installer again
Claude can't find my CSV
  • Make sure the CSV is inside the project folder
  • Make sure it's a .csv file, not .xlsx or .pdf
  • Tell Claude the exact filename: "Look for transactions.csv"
Browser automation not working
  • Make sure Google Chrome is installed
  • Close all Chrome windows, then let Claude open it
  • Run /mcp and check browser tools are enabled
Audit taking too long

Large files take longer. If stuck for 10+ minutes, press Ctrl + C and try with a shorter date range.

Privacy

Only your conversation with Claude goes to Anthropic—not your raw transaction data.
